Opening Positions:

Job Title: Sales Manager

Job Objective:

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales management.
  • Experience with electronic product and materials industry
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.

 


 

Job Title:  Senior Test Engineer (high-end)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Development and operation of Li-ion battery assembly process
  • Hands-on operation of aqueous and non-aqueous electrochemical battery test equipment, interpretation of results and development of operating parameters.
  • Hands-on operation of diagnostic instruments such as electrochemical impedance spectrometry, and performing test of thermal cycling stability, mechanical durability, failure mode and hazard identification.
  • Data collection, analysis, documentation and report.
  • Determine optimum operating conditions, design parameters of battery packs, cell life and aging characteristics, and usage in dynamic environment.
  • Communicate and interact closely with other engineering staff responsible for developing electrode materials, battery cells and packs, including: new concept exploration, prototype units and working production lines.
  • Assist in the establishment of the R&D battery test labs, and the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and safety procedures for pilot process capabilities and analytical test capabilities as needed.
  • Establish appropriate calibration and maintenance programs and schedules for test systems to ensure accuracy and repeatability of measurements.

 

Requirements:

  • M.S. Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in battery or power electronics design and operation, or production environment.
  • Experience with advanced rechargeable lithium battery and polymer battery technologies strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of advanced batteries. Familiarity of carbon, ceramic and polymer materials preferred.
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude and assembly skills preferred
  • Able to work in a production environment and low humidity environment as needed.
  • Knowledge of quality control methods and techniques.
  • Successful track record of delivering test results and development goals accurately, on time and on budget.

 


Job Title: Battery Development Engineer, R&D (entry)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on fabrication of electrode materials and coatings.
  • Hands-on operation of battery test equipment, interpret result and prepare reports.
  • Create and input test scripts for computer controlled automation of tests.
  • Assist in the establishment of the R&D battery test labs.
  • Follow standard operating and safety procedures for battery test.
  • Support other engineering staff as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • M.S. Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience with advanced rechargeable lithium battery and polymer battery technologies strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of advanced batteries. Familiarity of film processing, carbon, ceramic and polymer materials preferred.

 


Job Title: Processing Engineer, R&D

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on fabrication and characterization of electrode slurries and coatings.
  • Evaluation and optimization of battery engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Conceptual designs of battery prototypes and process development of prototype fabrication and test.
  • Interfacing with customers in the context of prototype designs and application development.
  • Support other engineering staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in chemical or industrial process or equipment design.
  • Knowledge of advanced batteries, film processing, carbon, ceramic and polymer materials preferred.

 


Job Title: CVD Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in developing the company’s CVD system and process
  • Optimize and develop CVD process recipe and write reports.
  • Maintain and repair CVD systems, solve normal problems.
  • Characterize the quality of products.
  • Hands-on operation of CVD systems and experimental design to determine optimum operating conditions.
  • Train technicians and junior engineers in the safe and effective operation of systems.
  • Work closely with other team members and external vendors for component specification, system specification and purchasing.

Requirements:

  • Ph. D. Degree in Materials Science and/or Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Three years or more CVD process research experience. Candidate with exceptional experience may be exempt from degree requirements.
  • Able to effectively communicate and work closely with peers and CVD consortium members.
  • Able to train and supervise junior operators.
  • Able to produce clear and concise reports, possess good computer skills in office suite applications.
  • Understands safety regulations and environmental issues, and applied same to work.
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude and assembly skills.
  • Gas handling experience including plumbing of gases and liquids.

 


Job Title: Mechanical Engineer, Junior or Senior level

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, procuring, installing, and commissioning of equipment and supporting utilities.
  • Assist in supplier discussions, design reviews and collaborative mechanical/electrical/controls projects.
  • Responsible for maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Education requirements:

B.S. or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Candidate with exceptional experience may be exempt from degree requirements.

Requirements for Junior Level:

  • Must be able to perform the basic plumbing tasks, including but not limited to the connection and installation of pipes, adaptors, regulators.
  • Must have experience in electrical service and connection.
  • Must be able to maintain the HVAC, water, and gas systems in the facility.
  • Must be able to perform tool and equipment installation and maintain equipment operations, such as vacuum pumps and resistance furnaces.
  • Must be able to make engineering drawings and familiar with 2D/3D CAD or similar software.
  • Hands-on experiences of Mill, Lathe and sheet-metal tool operations.
  • Must be able to operate lifts and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate.
  • Must be able to hear safety alarms, process alarms and abnormal sounds from process equipment.
  • Safety conscious, committed to adhering to EH&S rules and regulations.
  • Three year experience at lease.

Requirements for Senior Level:

  • Satisfy all the requirements for the junior level and/or be more advanced or proficient.
  • Must be knowledgeable of instrument design and manufacture. Experience with various semiconductor industry processes such as vacuum systems, resistance furnaces, mass flow controllers, pressure transducers, pumps, cooling systems, etc.
  • Must be highly motivated and goal oriented.
  • Must have strong problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people in different areas of R&D process integration, process development, and pilot production to effectively accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
  • Seven year experience at least.

 


Job Title:  Engineer

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree or M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • Basic lab working skill in chemistry or characterization is preferred.
  • Highly preferred to have at least 1 year scientific lab working experience
  • Self-motivated and solid problem solving skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate and work closely with peers and engineers.
  • Able to produce clear and concise reports, possess good computer skills in office suite applications.
  • Understands safety regulations and environmental issues, and applied same to work

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the product preparation with wet chemistry involved and quality control of products.

 


 

Job Title: Research Scientist – Chemistry

Responsibilities:

  • Develop graphene transfer and adhesion technology.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. Degree in  Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science and/or Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on chemistry lab experiences
  • Able to train and supervise junior operators.
  • Able to produce clear and concise reports, possess good computer skills in office suite applications.
  • Understands safety regulations and environmental issues, and applied same to work.
